Construction Equipment Consumption up 20% in July

In July, consumption of new construction equipment increased 20.1% compared to July 2013. Additionally, in 2014 sales are up 25% year-over-year.

As a result, equipment consumption is now 48.7% of the peak July volume set in 2006. And for the first time since 2008, equipment sales are above the July 10 year average.
