In June, consumption of new construction equipment increased 26.3% compared to June 2013. Additionally, in 2014 sales are up 23% year-over-year.
As a result, equipment consumption is now 48.8% of the peak June volume set in 2006. And for the first time since 2008, equipment sales are above the May 10 year average.
