Construction Equipment Consumption Up 7% in July

In July, consumption of new construction equipment increased by 7.1% compared to July 2014, ending a three month downward trend following 15 consecutive months of growth. Year-to-date sales are up 9.8% year-over-year compared to 2014.

 

Equipment consumption is now 34.7% of the peak July volume set in 2006 with equipment sales continuing to trend above the July 10-year average.
