Overdrive Senior Editor, Todd Dills, Wins Neal Award Fifth Year in a Row

We want to give a big congratulations to Randall-Reilly’s Todd Dills who was honored with a Jesse H. Neal Award at the 64th Annual Neal Awards. The event centered around honoring B2B journalism, took place in New York City on April 5th, 2018.
As a six-time Neal Award winner, five of which he won consecutively, Todd Dills is no newcomer to this form of prestigious recognition. His previous awards include Best Data Journalist and twice in a row for the Best Range of Work category.
This year, he took home the award in the Best Series category with his E-Log Shift series. The series covers the electronic logging device mandate and its effect on certain aspects of the trucking industry along with the industry as a whole.
In the Overdriveonline.com article, Overdrive, Senior Editor Todd Dills win Neal Award for ELD mandate coverage, Todd Dills had this to say about the series:

“Given how much opposition to the imposition of the ELD mandate there was among Overdrive readers, we knew the story of the e-log shift would be of huge interest,” said Dills. “And, of course, a tough subject to tackle. It wouldn’t have been possible without support from all of my colleagues here as well as the numerous insights delivered directly by the readership, whose concerns about the mandate in many ways charted the course for the series.”

All of us here at Randall-Reilly would like to wish Todd Dills continued years of success and we look forward to many more of his award-worthy content pieces.
