Top 10 Things That Happened at Randall-Reilly in 2013

It’s that time of year! If everyone is making top 10 lists, then we might as well too. Plus, 2013 was an exciting year for us, and we want you to share in the excitement.

So without further ado, here are the top 10 things that happened in 2013 at Randall-Reilly.


10. We launched Performance Marketing.

New services, such as Social Display, Truck Stop Display, and Search Companion Display among others, mean that our clients can better target their prospects online.


9. Nick Reid was named one of FOLIO’s Top 100 media professionals.


Our VP of Digital Services, Nick Reid was recognized for being one of the most impactful and influential media professionals of 2013, and understandably, we’re pretty proud of him.


8. Total Landscape Care won 7 awards at the 2013 TOCA Conference.

TLC is our multi-channel brand that provides business information for professional landscapers. And apparently, they’re doing a good job. They won awards for design, content, social media, and more.


7. And then we won some more awards.

2013 Editorial Awards for Randall-Reilly
Our brands Overdrive and Commercial Carrier Journal both won prestigious editorial awards. CCJ won the ASBPE 2013 National Gold Award for the News Analysis/Investigative category, and Overdrive also won 2 American Society of Business Press Editors awards.


6. Hard Working Trucks was born.

2013 saw the launch of HardWorkingTrucks.com. It’s a new website that fills a gap in the trucking industry for the (cough) hard working trucks that have fewer than 18 wheels.


5. The Great American Trucking Show won the gold.


We really love winning. And the Great American Trucking Show won big with their induction into the Gold 100 by Trade Show Executive.


4. We acquired Careers in Gear.

CareersinGear.com joined the Randall-Reilly’s Recruiting Media family this year, and we’re excited to be able to offer our clients even more ways to reach their driver recruiting goals.


3. EDA launched its new online platform.


EDA has always been a premium source of insights for the construction industry, but with the new online platform, our clients get a whole new set of features.


2. We achieved Google Partner status.

While we are very excited to be a Google Partner, the more exciting part of this is it means we are doing a good job for our clients.


1. Our clients won by marketing to the Sales Lifecycle.


In 2013, the biggest thing that happened is we were able to integrate our data services, media services, and marketing services in a way that enables our clients to market to the Sales Lifecycle.

UPDATE: Oops! We missed some editorial awards. Better Roads won two national ASBPE Awards of Excellence Azbee Awards in 2013. The gold award was for Original Research, and the bronze award was for Web News Section. Better Roads also won a gold regional Azbee.
