At the 30th Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association meeting held in Charlotte, North Carolina, on April 30 – May 3, 2019, Total Landscape Care earned one first place award and one merit award. Associate editor Beth Hyatt received her second first place award in the “Writing for newsletter – original content only” category for her piece on perfecting design pitches. Editor Jill Odom earned a merit award in “Writing for website – original content only” for her article on outdoor showers. This is Odom’s seventh TOCA award she has received.
