January’s overall average cost per lead (CPL) dropped 11% month-over-month (MoM) to its second lowest level since last March (only August’s was lower). Through the first half of February[1], average CPL is on pace to decline further, but historically the trend has been for lead costs to tick upwards in the back half of the month.

Need Drivers? You Better Know What They Care About!

The American Transportation Research Institute conducted a study to try and identify driver motivations and satisfaction levels. They surveyed drivers using eight motivating factors, and asked them to rate their importance ranging from extremely important, to not important at all. They also asked the drivers to then rate their satisfaction level with each of the eight factors using a similar scale.
