Don’t miss out on your chance to nominate your pick for trucking’s top rookie. The winner of the 2019 Mike O’Connell Trucking’s Top Rookie Award will be announced on August 23rd at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas at this year’s Great American Trucking Show (GATS).
In addition to various prizes the first prize winner will take home $10,000! Prize packages including $1,000 will be given to nine other finalists.
To submit your nomination and for a full list of rules and eligibility requirements click here. All nominations must be submitted to Trucker’s News by 5pm E.T. on Friday June 28, 2019.
Trucker’s News is proud to be partnering with the Commercial Vehicle Training Association, the National Association Of Publicly Funded Truck Driving Schools, and the Professional Truck Driver Institute to find this year’s top rookie. The criteria to be considered include:
- Availability for loads
- On-time delivery
- Highway safety performance
- Customer relations
- Work record
- Non-job related activities
